SWAG合集 is excited to announce that the 2024-2025 Theatre Season will open with Professor Thomas Meloncon’s courtroom drama, Whatever Happened to Black Love. The production, written in 1988, has had an extensive tour through the United States at theater venues and churches alike.
Black Love addresses issues that impact the survival of the Black family.
From the writer: “The state of the Black Family has always and will continue to be one of the most crucial issues in America. There has always been that enigmatic question among sociologists, psychologists, and historians as to who is most responsible for its condition. Yet, even with its journey through the headwinds of history, it has managed to survive. But, what if this question, of who is most responsible, could be played out in a court of law, what would be the verdict?”
This courtroom drama is suited for anyone 15 years and older.
